Hip arthritis can be felt as pain in the groin or buttock while getting up and walking. Treatments range from non-operative options such as medications and injections to hip replacement surgery.

Tears in the meniscus can contribute to knee pain and sometimes be one of the causes of “locking” in the knee. Treatments options range from physiotherapy to knee arthroscopy.

Hip replacement surgery is a successful treatment for hip arthritis. The Anterior Approach can help decrease pain and accelerate the first 6 weeks of recovery after hip replacement compared to other approaches.

Knee replacement surgery is a successful treatment for knee arthritis. It can improve knee pain while standing, walking and performing daily weight-bearing activities.

Platelet Rich Plasma injections (PRP) can help with the pain associated with knee arthritis as well as tendonitis.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) injections can help lubricate joints and decrease pain.

ACL reconstruction is successful treatment for young people who have had a traumatic ACL tear. It can help active young people regain stability in their knee, so that they can return to sports.

Knee arthroscopy can diagnose and treat painful meniscus tears that have not responded to physiotherapy.

Partial Knee Replacement resurfaces only the diseased part of the joint. This less invasive procedure offers a more “natural” feeling knee after recovery.
